Who Dat News: Ghent Is Truly a Saint

News: Saints TE and special teamer Ronnie Ghent is giving something back to the youth of his hometown of Lakeland, Florida in the form of his Ronnie Ghent Youth Achievement Camp, according to TheLedger.com. Ghent has brought along teammates Marvin Mitchell and Tyler Palko as well as several other NFL players to offer middle and high-school age football players advice on passing the SAT, ACT and FCAT, applying for financial aid and navigating the recruiting process. "It's about giving back, but it's bigger than football really," Ghent said. "It's about education and being a leader, explaining to kids that they don't have to just go along with the crowd. Of the upcoming football season Ghent said, "Not everyone can say they played on Sundays. It took a lot of hard work to get there, and I know I'm going in fighting for the job again this year."

Who Dat Say: What a class act. I guess this is the type of high-character guy that Sean Payton is looking for in the locker room. Ghent has taken over Steve Gleason's position as the whodatsay non-starter we love. We'll be pulling for Ronnie to make the 53-man roster again this year and hope to see him flying down the field on special teams looking to lay someone out.
